3D Digitizer from FARO

We begin the seminar with a breif demonstration from FARO and their digitizing software. This point cloud data can be used to create geometry with a CAD software package such as SolidWorks.

Solid Modeling and Part Design using SolidWorks

DASI Solutions, the local SolidWorks dealer, will be on hand to help with solid modeling and part design using data from FARO, inside of SolidWorks.

CNC Machining

Creating Toolpath using CAMWorks

Our very own Applications Engineer, Mark Hill will help demonstrate the power of CAMWorks inside of SolidWorks by generating 2D and 3D toolpath as well as the G-code program for the CNC mill.

High-Speed Machining of our Reverse Engineered part

Our good friends at VMC Technologies in Troy will not only be hosting the event, but will be demonstrating their lastest CNC machines and High Speed Machining of the part we started with from the FARO digitizer to SolidWorks and then to CAMWorks.
