I am applying for the position of drafting with AutoCAD. I have taken manufacturing processes as one of my required classes. I can do mechanical drawings and design. I just noticed your reply today and this is my cover letter. As you will see from my resume I have a good job-related skill that qualifies me for this job. I have worked as hard I can do extra drawings between classes. I can draw for hours because I like the computer program AutoCAD. I have done some work with 3D as well and used the Solid Works some also. I have the AutoCAD program at my home and have done some designing for myself. Everything I do joins along the edges, or works out right, fits good together, really works sound. For example I drew up an insert for an Igloo Play Pal cooler for summer picnics. I fit three paper glasses into it and that keeps the liquid from spilling out as well as keeping it cold. I’d like to draw from home using AutoCAD 2006 Internet capabilities.
